Final Sketchup Model
Controlled Chaos + Flexibility/Irrationality (Opposite Direction) = Contrast Complexity
Carlo Scarpa : Controlled Chaos
Carlo Scarpa's work show a business on design. The complexity of Architecture brings the idea of Chaos. However, Carlo Scarpa has designed complex building on purpose. Also when it look closely, in the complexity of building, there are pattern and rhythm on the design. Therefore, Carlo Scarpa's work can be describe as 'Controlled Chaos'.
Toyo Ito : Flexibility/Irrationality
Toyo Ito's works give visitors a sense of astonishment. The design are somewhat different to normal building. It breaks the rational thinking such as tall buildings must have to be built with lots of concrete. His Idea is flexible. He brings a not common material to build the wall. Also he brings the concept which has no relationship to building. Therefore, Toyo Ito's work can be said as 'Flexibility/Irrationality'.
Electroliquid Aggregation : Contrast Complexity
The monument created from the concept of Carlo Scarpa and Toyo Ito, can be describe as 'Contrast Complexity'. The monument is heading to different direction and it creates complexity. Also the opposite direction creates contrast. The contrast is also be found in different size of rectangular prisms.
